Crowthorne Parish Council - Summer of Fun Event 2017

Crowthorne Parish Council held their popular Summer of Fun event on the Morgan Recreation Ground on Tuesday, 15th August 2017.

The event which took place on a beautiful summers day proved to be a huge success with parents and children.  Families were able to take part in an array of free outdoor activities and there was something for everyone to enjoy from handling reptiles and birds of prey to taking part in activities such as crazy golf, zorb balls, laser tag, and bubble football.  Children were able to perform circus skills, create art work, and take part in storytelling through movement, songs and games.

The event was organised by the Parish Council with grant funding received from the Tesco bags of Help Scheme and raffle prizes donated by local traders.

A mini consultation was conducted with the parents and children attending the event, on the range of play and fitness equipment in place on the Morgan Recreation Ground.  A summary of the results is shown HERE >>.

The Parish Council would like to thank everyone who supported the event and all those that came along to enjoy the fun!
